Jesse Aldredge
Game QA Analyst & Designer
Hello! I’m Jesse Aldredge, a Game QA Analyst with a background in game design, production, and gameplay systems. I’m currently working in game development as a QA Tester at ProbablyMonsters, where I support active projects through gameplay testing, regression testing, bug reporting, build verification, and cross-functional collaboration.
My path into games started in San Diego, California, where my father worked as a Sound Designer for Sony’s San Diego Studio. Touring the studio as a child gave me an early look at how games are made and sparked the interest that eventually led me to pursue game development seriously.
I graduated valedictorian from Full Sail University with a B.S. in Game Design and a 4.0 GPA. During my time there, I led and contributed to multiple projects, including cyber.EXEcution, a fast-paced Unreal Engine FPS set in a fragmented cyberpunk digital realm. My work included gameplay and systems design, level design/blockout, documentation, scripting, playtesting, bug tracking, and production coordination.
Today, my professional focus is on quality, player experience, and helping teams build polished games. I enjoy working at the intersection of QA, design, and production: testing how systems behave, understanding design intent, communicating issues clearly, and helping teams stay aligned through iteration.
Outside of games, I enjoy traveling, exploring the outdoors, and creating music. I’m always looking to connect with others in game development, especially around QA, production, gameplay systems, and player-focused design.
